Social Media & Content Executive.
THE ROLE.
We’re looking for someone to take on a small group of our social media clients and look after them from planning the month through to the shoot and content execution.
You’ll create the content yourself: graphics built around each client’s branding, reels, stories and captions. You’ll plan and help run content shoots, which is where a lot of our best work comes from, and you’ll be the person your clients speak to day to day.
You’ll have ownership of the day-to-day delivery of your accounts, but you won’t be expected to do everything alone. Alex will provide creative direction and support, while Kate will oversee wider strategy, pricing and new business. We also have dedicated graphic design and web support across the team.
● Planning each client’s monthly content around their promotions, key dates and business goals.
● Creating branded social content including graphics, reels and stories.
● Writing captions & copy that sound like each individual brand.
● Building content calendars, managing client approvals and scheduling content.
● Keeping accounts active day to day through stories, mentions, messages and engagement.
● Planning content shoots with clients, capturing content on the day and post production editing.
● Being the main day-to-day contact for your clients via Slack, Zoom and email.
● Monitoring content performance and flagging useful insights or opportunities to the relevant team member.
● Working closely with Alex on creative direction and content quality.
● Supporting teammates with account cover when required.
● Contributing to TCS’s own social media and content.
You’ve managed social media for real clients or a real brand.
You have a good eye and understand the difference between content that simply looks nice and
content that actually supports a business.
You’re comfortable picking up a phone and shooting a reel in a busy business, and just as
comfortable replying to a client who wants something changed.
You’re organised, reliable and able to work independently. You take ownership of your deadlines
and don’t need to be chased.
Ideally, you already pay attention to what beauty, aesthetics and wellness brands are doing
online and have a genuine interest in creating content within this space.
● 1–3 years’ experience creating content for social media or a brand. Agency, in-house and freelance experience all count.
● Confidence shooting and editing short-form video on your phone using CapCut, Edits or similar
● Strong Canva skills, including the ability to work confidently within an established brand identity
● Clear, natural caption writing across different tones of voice
● Experience scheduling content through Meta Business Suite or a similar platform
● Strong organisation and time management, particularly when working remotely and across multiple accounts
● Reliable and comfortable working independently
● Based in Cork and able to drive to client shoots
● Full clean driving licence
● Experience working with beauty, aesthetics, skincare, hair or wellness brands
● Previous agency experience
● Experience with paid social advertising, particularly Meta Ads
● Photography or lighting skills beyond a phone
● An understanding of basic social media analytics and reporting
● Fully remote working, with set hours that fit around the rest of your life
● A laptop and phone for work
● A small team where your work is seen and your ideas are listened to
● Clients in a creative, visual industry
● A clear opportunity to take on more responsibility as you grow
